SKF Iron and Mining Private Limited does not apply one generic checklist to every item. Steel products and furniture require different measurements, finish checks, packing considerations and supporting information.
For steel pipe, fittings and rods, review begins with the agreed product description and specification. Depending on the order, relevant details may include material or grade, nominal size, outside diameter, wall thickness or schedule, fitting type, end connection, surface condition and quantity.
Dimensional or visible checks are aligned to the information confirmed with the buyer. Packing and markings can also be reviewed where they form part of the agreed requirement.
Furniture quality is considered through the agreed model, dimensions, material, colour and finish. Visible condition, assembly details where applicable and packaging are important because they affect both presentation and protection during handling.
Reference images or approved product details help define what is expected. For project quantities, review points can be agreed before order confirmation so the same criteria are used throughout the supply.
Commercial and shipment documents are coordinated as part of the import workflow. The exact documents or test records available depend on the product, manufacturer and terms agreed for the order. Any required certificate, report or third-party inspection should therefore be stated at enquiry stage.
For an accurate inspection plan, include required standards, drawings, measurements, reports and acceptance criteria with your enquiry.
